Sirens that are given, willingly or forcefully, a constant flow of Eridium to absorb become unable to live without it: the Eridium essentially becomes their life support. While Eridium increases a Siren's powers and makes them more powerful, even increasing their natural healing to the point of superhuman regeneration, the 'high' of the power boost has the potential to be addictive. I sincerely hope "Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep" is back up to par, Gearbox. "Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt" is alternately frustrating and boring with a few flourishes: modified bad guys and bosses and equipment containers.but that's about it. ![]() There are quite a few of these minor frustrations that add up to one big turn off of a game. My bad, but seems less like something that Gearbox's A-team would've designed. Not cool to make it so easy to lose that much eridium. Oh! and lest I forget, I stupidly gave up 23 eridium bars accidentally by clicking on one of the eridium furnace totems. In fact, I think I've lost more money than I've made in this DLC. Wasted about $25,000 on that little adventure. The part where I lure the Borak out I accidentally put myself in a Last Stand mode where I had to kill something or I'd die. I've also died more in this DLC pack than I have in the entirety of my Borderlands 2 career. There is a distinct lack of vending machines which causes me to have to run all the way back to the lodge to unload my goods. Paths are needlessly bumpy (What's with that loooooong path up to the lodge? Why no elevator?). In addition to all the running around, there are some painful and problematic accessways. But if you're going to make me go to the effort I expect there to be payoffs. Not only does it start off assuming that I'm a level 50 player (my weapons seem to be incredibly underpowered) but I also spend waaaaay too much time running around - and I expect do a fair amount of travelling in these kinds of games. After the fun of "Mister Torgue's Campaign of Carnage" this one is a bit of a letdown. By il_moro | Review Date: I haven't gotten too far into "Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt" but I doubt I will. ![]()
